I used to eat this when I was in girl scout camp. the kids loved them and so do I. I'm using estimated amounts so you can put as much or as little as you want in them.
- wash celery sticks and cut in half, giving you 8 sticks in total.
- spread 4 sticks with peanut butter and the other 4 with cream cheese and top with raisins.
- Dig in and enjoy.
I just bought some more celery so I could make these. I used to eat them as a kid for energy. Such a quick and tasty treat!
I loved this as a kid! I still eat it now. It also packs well for lunches. Put two sticks (or one stick cut in half) sticky sides together and wrap with cling film. Make a nice side to a salad too. I normally skipped the raisins on the cream cheese ones.
This is a great little snack. My mom would make these for us often when we were kids. Sometimes we would use cheese whiz in place of the peanut butter, or cream cheese.
