Delicious melt in your mouth cookies. It wouldnt be Christmas for our family without these.

Directions

  1. Cream everything but flour.
  2. Stir in flour.
  3. Drop by teaspoons on UN greased cookie sheet, 2" apart.
  4. Bake at 400 for 8 minute.
  5. Cool two minutes on sheet.
  6. Then roll in confex sugar and set on paper to cool.
  7. When totally cool roll again in sugar or shake sugar on as you put them in a can.

Halfed the recipe and made these today for my sweet tooth. I added the full amts of extract though. Used 1/2 cup butter, 1 1/8 cup of flour and a little more than 1/4 cup of pwdred sugar:)The rum flavor is light but there. Will use more rum extract or all rum extract next time. Thanks for an easy recipe!
