Ann's Chocolate Chip Cookies
"I have actually won contests with this recipe. I just adapted it from the Nestle Toll House recipe on the back of the package. I have yet to find a chocolate chip I like better than Toll House for cookies! My teens, church friends, fellow parents, & kids' teachers beg for these!"

ingredients
- 591.47 ml all-purpose flour
- 4.92 ml baking soda
- 236.59 ml butter flavor shortening (I think this is what makes the difference)
- 177.44 ml granulated sugar
- 177.44 ml brown sugar
- 4.92 ml vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 532.32 ml chocolate chips
directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F
- Beat shortening, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla in mixer until creamy.
- Add eggs.
- Gradually beat in flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix in chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons (I use a meatball-sized scooper and shape them with a soft flattening) onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 9 - 11 minutes or until golden.

I am what seems to be perpetually engaged to be married to an amazing man! I also am the Avon Lady... :). Love cooking but don't do it often enough because I hate cleaning. LOL I love, Love, LOVE baking and have even won a few awards for my chocolate chip cookies. I think it's the satisfaction you see on the face of those eating your creation that causes me to favor baking. Service to others fills my love tank. <3</p>
