Ahhh, comfort food. This has much more flavor than the recipe I've been using, from the paprika and Worcestershire sauce. Very easy, this comes together very quickly. I recommend you have the pasta mostly cooked before you start the sauce. And I suggest you make lots of sauce. It's soooo good! Definitely a keeper.

Annie, your mom indeed was wonderful and a superb cook, and you are no less than wonderful to share this masterpiece. I made this the other night for dinner and even my son-in-law who is not a lover of sour cream all but licked his plate and everyone elses clean. To call this "fabulous stroganoff" is a gross understatement. I doubled this recipe and inadvertently forgot to double the sourcream quantity and it was still a great consistency and no one realized I had goofed including me until later that evening. Kudos for sharing a luscious recipe that I will make often
