This is wonderful tea!! It had such a light, sweet and refreshing flavor. I didn't add any sweetener as I found the anise seeds add their own sweetness. I'll be making this often...I first saw you recommend it to Jamilah's kitchen on the Ramadan Tag forum and had to try it. Thanks for sharing chef FIFI. :)

This is wonderfully refreshing. I like it both hot and iced. I have also tried it with fennel seed since they have a similar licorice flavor. Thanks for posting!

I really enjoyed this. It's very easy & very light tasting. I didn't add any sweetener. Also, I did crush the anise seeds just a little before adding them to the water. Thanks.

Very light comforting drink. Benefits are similar to my Shy Mi Yansoon - Anise Tea Recipe. Which has the addition of Rooibos. This is very easy and relaxing. Will make again. Thanks!

I love anise and this was simple and delicious! To bring out the flavor even more, I lighlty crushed the seeds in a pestle and mortar. ...floated a mint leaf on top. Thanks for sharing. cg ;)

I was looking for home remedies for cough and came across 'Anise Tea'. I tried your recipe but added a dash of honey to it. I must say I am going to have this tea even when i'm not having cough!

Nice light tea. Anise has its own sweet flavour so to be much healthier I did not add sugar. I did try my DD's with her amount of sugar but I go without. I would like to try this for DD2 for colic.
