Cooking this was easy, and I doubled the sherry, but it was so salty, it made the meal almost unenjoyable. The salt came from the beau monde seasoning, so I don't know if it was just the brand I got or if this was how it was supposed to be. I'll make this again, but with half the beau monde and see if that fixes the salt problem.

Excellent. I ordered the spices on line then found them at a local grocery store. Dag Nabit... The flavor was out of this world and well worth finding the beau monde. Made for holiday tag.

I made this as one serving for Buddha because he loves mushrooms. This dish is simple to put together and very flavorful. I omitted the beau monde seasoning as I didn't have any on hand, but otherwise made as directed. When Buddha had it for lunch today, he gave it an immidiate 5-stars.

Yet another wonderful chicken newbie to add to my working [& growing!] file of recipes! I had no trouble finding beau monde locally [paint me surprised!], so this recipe went together without a hitch! I'm not a big fan of mushrooms, but my other half is, so this one was as much for him as anything! Still, I was pleasantly surprised at how well I liked the results, & perhaps that was because of the beau monde, something else I'd never used before! Anyway, this was great, & my thanks to you for posting it!

This was an extremely easy recipe to make with fantastic results. I was a little worried about using the canned mushrooms but they tasted as good as the handful of fresh mushrooms I added. I would recommend cooking on low after you bring it to a boil and cover it because I found cooking on medium caused the wine to dry out even though I had doubled the amount of wine;) I just added more wine and it came out terrific! My family and I loved this! It was so easy and the results were delicious. I am familiar with beau-monde seasoning and it is definitely a must-have for this recipe. This is a keeper! Thanks Lainey for sharing!
