My dad and my uncle make this tartar sauce and it is THE BEST!!! Now I posted ingredient quantities but usually I just eyeball it and taste test. The egg makes all the difference in the world. Cooking time is based on how long you cook your eggs. Best if made the night before the fish fry!
- 2 hard-boiled eggs, mashed with a fork
- 591.47 ml mayonnaise
- 14.79-29.58 ml sweet relish
- 78.07 ml finely chopped onion
- 14.79-29.58 ml lemon juice
- 4.92 ml garlic powder
- 4.92 ml onion powder
- 4.92-9.85 ml paprika
- salt & pepper
- Mix all ingedients together well.
- Chill overnight.
Yum! This was really good. Very simple and tasty. We served this with Mrs. Dash Baked Potato Wedges for a nice treat while watching football. Thanks Mrs. Ambrosia for a nice recipe. Made for Bargain Basement Tag.
