A wonderful Italian appetizer that is easy & you will love!
- 4 medium tomatoes
- 1 (2 ounce) can anchovy fillets, undrained
- 1 lemon, juice of
- 1 pinch oregano (optional)
- Wash & cut tomatoes into lengthwise wedges.
- Arrange them on a small platter.
- Place 1 anchovy fillet onto each tomato section.
- Combine oil from the canned anchovies with rest of ingredients.
- Pour over tomatoes & anchovies.
