My mom made this dish up, it is REALLY good if you like anchovies. A little on the dry side because of the breadcrumbs and anchovies together, but it has an excellent taste.

I cut the recipe in half and it worked well. I was stingy on the breadcrumbs and used only 1 tbsp olive oil, chopped the anchovies quite fine and after warming on the pan tossed them with fettuccini. - I love anchovies and this pasta with a veal cutlet , green salad was wonderful Thanks Dana

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Heat olive oil in skillet add liquid from anchovies.
  2. Chop up anchovies and put in skillet on medium heat, for just a couple minutes (they cook up really fast so watch carefully).
  3. Turn skillet off, add bread crumbs and stir thoroughly.
  4. Pour over pasta.
