its a a tradition in our family to have an early friday breakfast togther, so i always do my speciality omlette =) check it out its amazing
- melt butter or use oil in a pan
- fry the onions and sausages for a while, or until they go redish.
- beat in the eggs with the cheese.
- keep scarmblling the eggs with the onions and sausages until eggs are well done.
- serve in plates.
Although the directions for this recipe are very casual & might put off a first timer, I plowed ahead & managed alright, making this breakfast for 3 of us! In a bowl, I combined the eggs with 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, beating them just enough to mix everything! Then I used 2 teaspoons of olive oil in a skillet to brown the sausages, cooking them for about 5 minutes before adding the onions to the skillet & frying for about another 3-4 minutes! At that point I removed the sausages & sliced them up before returning them to the skillet, along with the egg mixture, scrambling them until done ~ More like fancy scrambled eggs than an ometette, but what the hey!
