1. Super easy and super delicious. Even though it's Spring (and not Fall), this hit the spot. I used Cortland apples, which gave it just a hint of tartness to contrast the sweetness. Made for Spring PAC 2014.

 2. This was fantastic! Very easy to put together. I didn't change a thing. Wonderfully moist, tender cake, with pieces of apples and a cinnamon-spice flavor. Thanks for the new recipe.

 3. Delicious! I have a recipe exactly like this (except mine has nuts), and it has been a long time family favorite. This moist cake goes together so quickly and easily and is so full of flavor. I halved the ingredients and baked it in an 8x8" pan for 40 mins. (until it tested done with a toothpick). This would have been excellent served warm with some vanilla ice cream but I didn't have any :( . Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe! *Made for PAC Spring '08*

 4. This is so easy and tastes wonderful. I love the flavour of cinnamon in this. I like to freshly grind the cinnamon stick and then use that powder to bring out the flavour better. Tastes very nice and goes very well with adults{because of the cinnamon}. I think you forgot to change "unbeaten" to "beaten" for eggs;) Otherwise, it's perfect!

After 9 years(!) I thought I should update my profile and hopefully add more recipes soon. I still love to cook and love Food.com (good old recipezaar!) but my updaate is that my husband and son have become more adventurous eaters. When I started on this site my son was 3 or 4 months old. He's almost 9 now and HE cooks! I'm trying to raise a really well rounded, healthy son and teaching him that cooking is fun has been a joy. I'd like to thank those folks who have tried and reviewed my recipes. I make stuff up and try to only post the successes. I love this website and every single one of its contributors. You've helped feed my family for a decade.
