YUMMMMMY! My Amish mother-in-law shared this passed-down-the-generations recipe, and it is AMAZING! Hard to beat - and goes well with almost any flavor of cake! Enjoy!
- Beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla& salt until fluffy.
- Fold in Cool Whip.
This was very nice, and very easy to make. Actually it was creamy, yet the cream cheese gave it more density. I used it on a sheet cake. What can I say? A perfect ending that no one could resist. Thanks for sharing you MIL's recipe.
I made this to frost a 2-layer apple caramel cake. Frosted the cake and then drizzled the top with caramel. It is sooo good! I love both cream cheese frosting and any kind of whipped cream/cool whip..so this is perfect for me. Super easy to make, a definite keeper! Thank you!
Not sure what is happening to some of my reviews, seems this one never showed up.. This frosting was excellant,taste and texture..Did not change a thing. Your mother-in-law sure passed down a winner.
