Amazingly Creamy Macaroni and Cheese

This was a compilation of recipes. I didn't want to make the white sauce and found one that used milk with the cheese. That didn't seem like it would be creamy, so I remembered that when making quiche I tossed the cheese in flour to coat it. I did that here and no more will I make a white sauce for it! Everyone ate it, even the ones that prefer Kraft usually.

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Boil macaroni, slightly undercook.
  3. Mix shredded cheese with flour, mustard, and pepper.
  4. Put 9X13 pan in oven with butter in it to melt. Swish around pan and pour into milk.
  5. Put half of the macaroni in pan and sprinkle half of the cheese over. Add other half of macaroni and cover with remainder of cheese.
  6. Stir milk/butter mixture and pour evenly over casserole.
  7. Cover with foil, and cook for 20 minutes. Uncover, stir and cook for 10 more minutes.
