OK, Fish tacos are supposed to be cool crisp and refreshing. Stewed tomatoes ? canned green chilis.
This is a good on the fly recipe but if you have the time you want crisp fresh vegetables to go with your fish of choice. I say keep looking.
Tasted amazing! Very flavorful!
These tacos were really good! I thought the combination of flavors was just right; it was a little spicy but the taste of the salmon still came through. I served these on corn tortillas with lettuce, tomato, avocado and cheese.
I have never cared for fish tacos, until now!!! This is the most delicious taco ever!!! It's also requested by family and friends pretty often.. Keeper indeed!!!
Wow! I made these tonight and I cannot tell you how much of a hit they were! I have one daughter who was a vegetarian so I made two dishes one with the salmon and one with portobello mushroom and they were both equally absolutely delicious. I even think I could try chicken and steak there is just something so great about all of the cilantro and green onion everything was so fresh and all of our friends and family who loved them to pieces this is a new favorite in our family!
This is now one of our favorites! I have never written a review before, but this recipe deserves it! Added some fresh chopped peaches with the tomatoes and it added a nice sweetness. For my second helping, I used a white corn tortilla, lightly heated in a pan, and that was even better. Don't forget a little cheese and avocado.
I didn't care too much for the combination of fish and stewed tomatoes. I wanted to cool it down, like typical fish tacos, so I added homemade slaw and it was better. This would be good with chicken, but my taste buds just like fresh and light fish tacos. It was very simple and quick to make, though.. Just not for me.
Delicious! Will be making again!
Absolutely perfect!! A must have
Very tasty! I planned to make this dish with Salmon but ended up using shrimp instead. Very quick and easy dish.
