- 1Drain rice after washing it and keep aside.
- 2Combine oil, spring onion whites, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom and bay leaf in a glass bowl.
- 3Microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes.
- 4Add mushrooms.
- 5Microwave on HIGH for 1 more minute.
- 6Add rice and mix well.
- 7Microwave on HIGH for 1 minute.
- 8Add 2 cups of hot water to the rice mixture alongwith the remaining ingredients.
- 9Mix well.
- 10Microwave on HIGH for 10 minutes, stirring twice in between.
- 11Serve hot.
