Used an icecream scoop and cooked for 30min-very large wonderful cookie.
Found skor bar bits in the baking isle..sold in a bag like to chocochips.
Wish I had a picture to post but they were gone so fast lol and I doubled the recipie.
ps the star thingie did seem to work : this cookie is worth more than 5 stars.
Moist, soft, chewy, delicious. I left out the nuts (just this time). I did use the Heath bits from the bag and I thought they tasted great. However next time I will try the candy pieces. I used a smaller scoop so they weren't giant just normal size. These, obviously, go so good with a big cup of milk.
These are beautiful, easy, soft and chewy cookies. I used a combo of bitter and semi and toasted pecans instead of walnuts. I got about 22 cookies baked for 15 minutes. Make sure to chill the batter... recipe is super easy!
All I have to say is that these sound absolutely wonderful! I will let you know what I think as soon as I try them... I am excited to try this recipe.
These cookies are FANTASTIC!!! I made them for my co-workers one day and I got so many complements that they were the best cookies. Everyone loved how chewy they were and how they were like eating a brownie cookie. I used Ghirardelli Chocolate in my recipe, which added to the unbelievably delicious indulgence.
Fabulous!! These take a little extra effort, but the results are sublime! Two notes... First, they're awful about sticking. If you have a silpat, it will help enormously. At the very least, you really do need to use parchment paper. Secondly, those little "bits" of Heath bars in packages are convenient -- but they do *nothing* to enhance this recipe. I use Skor candy, breaking it up by hand before unwrapping so that the pieces are very coarse.
