Great marinade! Flavor is good but no overpowering! I increased the garlic by a hair but other than that followed the recipe! Thx!
Good, not extraordinary. I didn't think the long marinating made much difference. Served with bbq sauce, and used leftover chicken in a salad.
I really liked the flavor of this. The only change I made was exchanging honey for brown sugar. I let it marinade a good three or four hours.
This was good, just found that the flavour was fairly mild even after marinating overnight.
Yummy!!... Instead of a 1/2 cup of brown sugar I put a 1/4 cup of honey (plus one extra spoonful), a whole instead of a half squeezed lemon, and I nearly doubled the garlic and it turned out fantastic! I marinated the chicken breasts for about 7 hours and then broiled them and they turned out great! My boyfriend loved them!
Like many others, I cringe when the word "amazing" is used, but tried this recipe in spite of that. I did not have any grainy mustard and subbed dijon, but otherwise followed the recipe as written and grilled over charcoal. This marinade produces some very tender and tasty chicken. The lime flavor is perfect. The second time (in a week) I made extra marinade for brushing on while grilling. The third time, (which will be soon) I,m going to try reducing and thickening some marinade for a sauce.
This is the only way to eat chicken. After grocery shopping; I make the marinade, add the chicken and store in a a gallon ziplock bag and put in the freezer. Makes dinner a breeze any day of the week. I've stored chicken up to 2 months, and did not have any issues.
I was pleasantly surprised. This was very very tasty I followed directions exactly and my chicken breasts were moist and the taste was sooo good.
Good! Did it's job to make tender meat, and was yummy, but I was left thinking it needed some herbs or something...
