This banana bread is very simple, and so yummy!

  1. Heat oven to 350° Grease and flour loaf pan. In large bowl, with fork, mix first five ingredients. Using two knives, cut in shortening, in scissor fashion, until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. With fork, stir in bananas and eggs until just blended; spread batter evenly in pan.
  2. Bake 55 minutes to 1 hour, until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack 10 minutes; remove from pan and cool completely on rack.
