Amaretto Fudge Caffe, Non Alcoholic

• Serves: 1

ingredients

• 1 cup coffee
• 2 tablespoons amaretto flavored coffee creamer, liquid
• 1 tablespoon dark chocolate syrup
• whipped cream, as desired
• chocolate shavings, as desired

directions

1. Pour one cup hot coffee.
2. Stir in Coffee-mate and chocolate syrup.
3. Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

Annacia, I made this coffee this afternoon, but had to tweak the recipe, as I didn't have any amaretto coffee creamer, so I added a 1/2 teaspoon plus an 1/8 teaspoon of almond extract to my already brewed coffee, plus I added 1-1/2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup, along with 1 tablespoon of half-and-half, and topped the coffee with some Reddi-Wip. It was quite delish! - I should mention, that I didn't add any sugar, as I thought the chocolate syrup sweetened the coffee enough. Also, when preparing the coffee... I used 4 teaspoons of Folgers Black Silk Coffee, to make 1-cup of joe.

Yum! I don't use flavored creamers so put some almond extract into the coffee. It really smelled like amaretto and tasted heavenly! For the chocolate syrup I just mixed some rice syrup with cocoa powder. Thanks for sharing :)

Yummo!!! I made this for a warm evening drink last night. I didn't have that flavored creme so I made mine an alcoholic caffe, using Amaretto and half and half in place of it, and it sure warmed me up, plus it was so tasty!!! Thanks for sharing the recipe. Made for 123 Tag.

WOW! Great flavor on this one. I tripled the recipe and I too skipped the chocolate shavings. Made for the Summer 2009 Comfort Cafe.

Annacia - I knew the minute I tagged this drink that I would love it! I never go wrong with one of your coffee recipes! This is so smooth and full of flavor. I did skip on the chocolate shavings but enjoyed everything else as an evening treat after a very cold & wet day at soccer fields with the kids. Tagged in 123 hits.
