"The longer it sits, the better it tastes," you say. Ours was gone the first day. LOL! It's THAT good!!!

This is a great recipe. My girls made it for their grandparents anniversary. We made two 9 inch cakes instead of the bundt. The girls decorated with butter cream. The cake tasted amazing. I can't wait to make it again.

This was pretty good and aromatic. I didn't use the glaze thought. I iced it with almond buttercream and covered in fondant. Will do again.

I can almost taste this now, except I don't have a yellow cake mix, boo hoo! Hey, does any baby boomer remember a recipe from scratch that contained sour cream,, butter, or margarine, orange extract, lemon extract, and almond extract? I have part of a newspaper clipping with the recipe, but the Amt. of butter, sugar & eggs, & sour cream are missing, & i don't know how to re-create it. It calls for 3 cups of sifted flour & a 1/2 cup of Amaretto, too! It was sooo delicious, as will this recipe be. Terri

The cake was dry, despite the glaze, even after sitting out. I followed the recipe exactly, so I'm not sure why this didn't turn out for me. Thanks for the recipe anyway.

This cake was simple to prepare and tasted great. It did last for 3 days and I thought that it did get a little dry, so I sprinkled some amaretto on the bottom and it was fine after that. Thanks for a great recipe.

We had company and I served this cake. Everyone raved about it and how very moist it was. Thanks for submitting.

My husband and I really enjoyed this cake. It halves well and is a great way to use up Amaretto. I actually found it at allrecipes.com where the recipe was already halved. Thank you for posting!

I made this as a house warming gift for a friend. she shared with everyone that was over and the LOVED it. her husband who doesn't like cake ate 3 pieces!!! they have already requested i make it again for tomorrow so that's what i'm doing. the only thing i did was add a little coconut rum to the amaretto and used vanilla extract instead.
