This is a really easy to make, delicious drink that is traditionally enjoyed during Ramadan for iftar or suhur.
- Cut up the apricot sheets into 4 or 5 stips.
- Add water to cover.
- Soak until apricot dissolves. (5 hours).
- Once apricot is fully dissolved, refrigerate.
- Serve cold.
DH brought home one of those apricot packages and this worked when I didn't know how it was to be made. Not that I liked it that much but maybe it wasn't a good brand? It kind of hand a plastic flavour! Also it did not look like little mafia's photo as it was nectar consistency and unclear.
We're discovering all these cool Middle Eastern drinks. The texture was a bit weird to me,but the taste was so refreshing ,just what we needed on a hot day.
