Bread
- 2 cups flour (anykind)
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 cup soymilk

Topping
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- salt (to taste)
- 1 teaspoon mixed green herbs
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
directions
- Mix dry ingredients.
- Add oil and soy milk, mix
- Knead on floured board for about 1 - 2 minutes.
- Press onto oiled cookie sheet.
- Smear topping on.
- Bake at 375 for about 20 minutes or until golden on top.

I may have read this wrong... I had to alter it in order to make it work. When I mixed the ingredients together, it was way to liquidy to knead. I had to double up on all the dry ingredients. Even then, it was hardly dough. More like batter. In the end, I found a very good recipe to use to make oatmeal flatbread... by using extra oatmeal flour until a dough formed, and then nixing the topping, I made a very lovely and sweet dessert bread- which I give 5 stars. Please clarify about the liquid...

I live in Calgary and work as a technician downtown. I'm not that great a cook. To be honest, I lack the very basics of common sense in the kitchen, much to my husbands amusement and chagrin. The dogs usually get the things we can't eat, and sometimes it just goes straight to the garbage bin! Oh well. I am learning, and I've tried many of the great recipes here!
