I got this online for a request in the forums from a Las Vegas Newspaper article that was written after the restaurant closed. I would think you can leave out the MSG if you like. Cook time is approximate chilling time.

WOW, I am happy I had a craving hit me this morning. So as I was getting my cottage cheese I thought I would check the web. What a great tool. I had the pleasure to go to the Alpine Village about 35 years ago the first time. My wife and I enjoyed the seasoning very much and bought some. We always made it a point to stop by when we would be in town. When we needed more and found the resturant was gone, she was heart broken. We had tried several times to make it, but just wasn't the same. So happy days now that I found this on line.
Looks like I am making a batch up this weekend and am going to make my daughter very happy when she sees what I have for her. Thanks for putting this online. Wonderful memories of the past.
- 2 lbs cottage cheese, small curd
- 1⁄2 teaspoon caraway seed
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon Accent seasoning
- 1⁄2 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 tablespoon dried chives
- 1⁄2 teaspoon celery salt
