I tried this on a whim since we had some strawberries sitting in the refrigerator. I served with some white chocolate pudding and brownies for dessert one night. It tasted pretty darn good. So I thought I'd share.

  1. Add 1/2 cup of water to the saucepan
  2. Slowly stir in Splenda and continue to do so until fully incorporated
  3. Add the strawberries and allow mixture to boil
  4. Continue to boil mixture until the syrup takes on the strawberries' color and the fruit begins to cook down
  5. Stir in the corn syrup
  6. Remove from heat and allow it to at least cool slightly before serving.
