- 1 garlic clove, halved (optional)
- 118.29 ml dry white wine
- 283.49 g container refrigerated alfredo sauce
- 226.79 g bag shredded swiss cheese (2 cups)
- 0.61 ml ground nutmeg
- 14.79 ml kirsch (optional) or 14.79 ml brandy (optional)
directions
- Rub the garlic clove (if using) around the inside of a fondue pot or nonaluminum saucepan, then discard.
- Add the wine and heat to boiling.
- Reduce flame (or stovetop) to low and add the Alfredo sauce, Swiss cheese, and nutmeg.
- Stir constantly until the cheese is melted and very hot.
- Add the kirsch or brandy (if using).
- Serve with cubes of bread, sliced pears, and sliced apples.

I love to cook! I also love to take complicated recipes and make them simpler. Who wouldn't like to have fewer pans to wash?
