      I'd take this version rather than the boxed stuff anyday! I added shredded cheddar and chopped garlic, but left off the onions since I don't care for them. I also didn't drain my beans, but used the juice and added it into the blender. I think some chopped carrots and peas would be a great addition the next time I make this! Thanks for posting.

      Very Good recipe.I didn't have enough chickpeas so bulked it out (after reading TreeSquirrel's review) with garlic,grated carrot,peas and corn,I will be making this again.Thank you.

      I think this is brilliant! The prep method is super, it tastes great and it's healthy! Whats not to like. Clearly it will help if you like garbanzo's (I love them). The texture is very pleasent and the pepper flakes give it a kick. It doesn't take long to make and served with salad (I dressed mine very simply with lemon juice and a bit of salt) this makes a marvelous meal. Made for PAC, Fall'o7
