My girlfriend calls this homemade toffee but as far as I'm concerned it taste just like Almond Rocha...only flat. Great stuff!

  1. Sprinkle almonds onto buttered cookie sheet, reserving 1/2 cup of the nuts.
  2. Melt butter and sugar together and bring to a roiling boil, stirring constantly. After the roiling boil begins, continue to stir constantly for 12 minutes.
  3. Pour mixture over almonds on cookie sheet and lay the Hershey Bars over hot mixture to melt. Make sure the mixture is all covered with chocolate.
  4. Sprinkle with reserved almonds and let cool completly.
  5. Break into small pieces.
