- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 cups almonds, chopped
- 2 cups butter
- 12 ounces Hershey Bars
directions
- Sprinkle almonds onto buttered cookie sheet, reserving 1/2 cup of the nuts.
- Melt butter and sugar together and bring to a roiling boil, stirring constantly. After the roiling boil begins, continue to stir constantly for 12 minutes.
- Pour mixture over almonds on cookie sheet and lay the Hershey Bars over hot mixture to melt. Make sure the mixture is all covered with chocolate.
- Sprinkle with reserved almonds and let cool completly.
- Break into small pieces.
