  1. Preheat oven to 200°C
  2. Beat egg, salt and sugar until light and fluffy. Add oil in a stream and continue beating. Beat in milk
  3. Sift flour and baking powder together several times and add to batter, stirring until just mixed. Add nuts and poppy seeds
  4. Bake in greased muffin pans for 20-25 minutes.

I altered this recipe a bit when I made it. I used melted butter insead of oil and skipped the salt. I only used 1 1/2 TBSP poppy seeds and added 1 tsp of almond extract. They were quick and easy to make, turned out great and were very light and fluffy. This will be a keeper.
