  1. Bring it a boil, the water, the regular sugar and honey . Let it cool some what.
  2. Place the almonds in a food processor and process the almonds to a fine powder. Add the powdered sugar, slowly add the honey syrup and almond extract until the mixture forms a paste.
  3. store in the refrigerator.

A very good and very easy almond paste. I made two batches. My best results came when I boiled the mixture to about 235 - 240 degrees. When I just brought it to a boil it was a bit too runny. Thanks for a great alternative to expensive store bought almond paste!
