Try this on your cooked vegetables or fish.

Directions

  1. Over low heat add butter and almonds cook until lightly brown.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice.
  3. Serve warm over vegetables or fish.

Well, this couldn't be simpler, yet adds a nice depth of flavor to your meal. I used it over steamed asparagus, but I could see how it would enhance any vegetable, and would also be nice over fish. I will be experimenting with this again. It takes the ho-hum to a tastier level. Made for Newest Zaar tag game.
