- 1⁄4 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons evaporated milk
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted
- 1⁄2 cup almonds, toasted and chopped
- 1⁄2 teaspoon almond extract
- Melt butter and stir into 1/2 of the sugar.
- Add milk, extract and the rest of the sugar and beat until smooth.
- Stir in or top with almonds.
