Almond Amaretto Coffee

"For brunch, provide a carafe of coffee mixed with the amaretto and sugar. Then let guests serve themselves, topping each serving with whipped cream and almonds, if desired. From BHG."

ingredients

• 4.92 ml toasted slivered almonds (optional)
• 14.79 ml Amaretto
• 118.29 ml hot freshly brewed coffee
• whipped cream
• 4.92 ml brown sugar

directions

1. In a coffee cup, stir together the coffee, amaretto, and brown sugar. Stir to dissolve sugar. Top with a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle with almonds, if desired.

A delicious treat that is sure to please the most finickiest Amaretto coffee lover. I did add some whipping cream to the mug as well. Made for the 2010 Winter Comfort Cafe tag game.

Delicious! This was wonderful! I did add a packet of Splenda along with the brown sugar. I like my coffee alitte sweeter :) Made me a cup for a nightcap and will make again in the future. Thanks for sharing the recipe!!

Wow! This blew me away! So SIMPLE and yet - so FANCY and DELISH!!!! I had some friends over and prepared this for them. (My friends are not typically coffee drinkers - they preffer tea, as do I most of the time) well, wouldn't you know it.... my coffee hating friends asked for 5 refills of this in an entire afternoon!!!!
