  1. In the container of a blender or food processor, combine all the ingredients, and process on high speed until reduced to a fine powder.
  2. Transfer to a container with a tight fitting lid and use as desired.

No review 'cause I haven't tried this yet. For kiwidutch: try a mortar and pestle to grind the bay leaf and any other ingredients missed by the processor 1st and then add to rest in the processor to mix it all up.

Yum, I made this up and then made myself lunch: a chicken breast doused in this, pan fired in as little olive oil as I could get away with and then sliced and added a simple salad. Wonderful, I liked this very much, Just the right blend of flavours. I'd run out of onion powder so used dried onions flakes which got whizzed to powder in the food processor anyway, but no bayleaf becase DH thought it would be too woody and tough. Some of the mixture went quickly to powder while other bits spun crazily around the sides of the food processor bowl resisting tempation to meet with the blade, so not all of mine went sucessfully to powder, but the taste was there and that matters more. I needed an affordable substitute for VegiZest, a no-salt seasoning and soup base. This recipe works well. I've just made a second batch; the first lasted six weeks. I use dehydrated mint from my garden--I'm not certain it's spearmint, but it's readily available to me.
