Nice cleanser for face, body and hair. May have a mild bleaching effect on your hair if used over a period of time!!! Honey contains many vital vitamins and minerals and has a very high potassium content, which makes it almost impossible for bacteria to survive in it. Honey is one of the best known humectants (materials that hold moisture.) This is from the book, Natural Beauty at Home.

O Auntie Karen, what a wonderful recipe you got here! First of all, I want to THANK YOU for sharing it. It is fabulous! I made it using rose water, honey and Dettol bath soap(the liquid soap that comes in a bottle). Oh this smells amazing and on using it today in the bath, I felt like a queen!!! My skin feels so soft and smooth and I am feeling sooooooooooo fresh! A true winning recipe- I wish I could give you many many more stars;) Thanks in heaps for posting this awesome bath beauty!

This is one of my favorite personal cleansers. I use it as a face wash daily. For my 3 year old I use it as an all over body wash and shampoo. (She has darkening blonde hair so if it bleaches some no harm done.) I use castile soap, so when I use it as a body wash, I end up with not a lot of suds in our hard water. But I prefer castile soap to petro-chemical laden soaps, even if I do get less suds.
