This is so good! I used a 410 gm tin of lite evaporated milk and 1 cup of chicken stock (instead of broth) We couldnt believe how creamy the sauce was and didnt find it greasy at all. Great colours with the broccoli and shrimp too, a definite winning recipe Lennie. Thanks for posting. =)
We all loved the flovor! My Daughter-in-law will not eat meat, she thoutht that the flavor was better then the "Olive Garden" pasta. She now thinks that her mother-in-law is a great cook. Thank you Lennie!!
I found the sauce very greasy and not much flavor. Needs allot of work.
I love this! Yummy, yummy, yummy! I didn't use fresh parmesan - just the grated stuff that you can buy in the tubs but it still worked perfectly - and not using fresh means that it is a 'store-cupboard' recipe that I can make anytime I want. This is one of my and my hubby's favourite meals!
I made this recipe for my daughter and her friend for her friend's birthday. Her friend loves alfredo, so I was a little nervous. Her friend just loved the dinner. It was very tasty. The only change I would make in the future is adding a little more milk or broth as it was a bit thick.
No greasy complaints here! Yummy! We had it for dinner last night (I used chicken instead of shrimp because that's what I had thawed) and DH and our 5-yr-old daughter both loved it. She even wanted the leftovers for lunch AND dinner today!
I don't know what I did wrong, but my sauce turned out tasting more like white flour gravy. However, my boyfriend gave it the thumbs up.
