My BF inhaled this salmon- it was a wonderful blend of flavors! I used bottled minced ginger, and bottled minced garlic. It worked perfectly, and saved a bit of prep time. Also used low-sodium say sauce. Absolutely yummy!

I love salmon and am always looking for new ways to prepare it. I also love cooking with beer :) so this just seemed like a really good match for me and it was! Easy to make and really tasty.

I love salmon and serve it often. Because of this, salmon (and other fish) is served frequently. Always looking for good recipes for fish, I came upon your Alaskan Amber Salmon Marinade. Excellent on ANY seafood, including crustaceons. The combination of Amber Ale (Beer) and Soy Sauce creates a delicious flavour that begs for more. Of course the recipe must be served with simple and delicious sides; I gladly complied.... Wild rice and green mango, with a complement of grilled baby vegetables..... I am pleased and proud to share this recipe with my friends , and delighted to raise 5-thumbs up, in appreciation...... Thank you

I ended up only marinating these for 3 hours. Fish, even salmon has a tendancy to really absorb flavors much faster than other meat. It gave a nice mild flavor which I really enjoyed. I used Alaskan Amber. I'm not a huge Alaskan Amber fan as it's a little bitter for me, but it went well with the fish as the base for this marinade. Just don't tell my DH to be as he is a purist when it comes to his fresh caught salmon! Thanks Boomette!

This is good!! We used a wild king fillet and marinated for almost 24 hours. I cut back on the cilantro because we aren't huge fans, but the salmon came out very moist and delicious. Thanks Boomette for a great marinade recipe that we will use again.
