- 236.59 ml margarine, softened
- 236.59 ml dark brown sugar, packed
- 236.59 ml white sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 4.92 ml vanilla extract
- 354.88 ml flour
- 4.92 ml baking soda
- 2.46 ml salt
- 709.77 ml uncooked quick-cooking oatmeal or 709.77 ml old-fashioned oatmeal
- 340.19 g chocolate chips
directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F
- In a large bowl, beat margarine until light.
- Add sugars; beat until fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
- Add flour, baking soda and salt; mix well.
- Stir in oatmeal and chocolate chips until thoroughly combined.
- Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto a cookie sheet. (light greasing helps.).
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until cookies are just set. Do not overbake.
- NOTE: Made with margarine, these tend to spread; to minimize that, you can chill the dough before baking.
