Mmm...a cool, fruity smoothie on a hot day! This is an official "Five A Day" recipe.
- 1 pint strawberry, washed and stemmed
- 2 bananas, peeled and cut into chunks
- 1⁄2 cup plain yogurt or 1⁄2 cup strawberry yogurt
- 1⁄2 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3 cups ice cubes, divided
- Place all ingredients except 1 1/2 cups ice cubes in blender; blend on high speed until smooth, scraping down the side occasionally.
- Add remaining ice and blend until smooth.
- Serve immediately.
