A great gift idea - a wonderful scented after bath splash. Don't worry about using vodka - pure alcohol such as this is often used in beauty products.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 12 cup 100 proof vodka
  • 12 teaspoon rose fragrance oil (or any fragrance or essential oil that you like!)

  1. In the bottle, combine the vodka and fragrance oil; Shake well.
  2. Easy, isn’t it?

Yes it is! Easy, that is! Besides being easy, this is very feminine and if I may say so, this is a real "turn on" when you use jasmine oil, in particular, for this! Other nice oils I would use to make this are peppermint and lemon. I'd also like to try this with lavender some day, when I get my hands on it. I did substitute the vodka with sugical spirit like I had done few days back to make Foot cooling cream(recipe number 64573) and it worked just as well here as it did there! I have used some of this right now (made with rose essential oil) and I feel like "The Queen Of Roses"! Before using this, I had made and used your Herbal Bubble Bath (recipe number 54640). Both, are incredibly good recipes and work well when used one after the other! I think both these recipes would make ideal gifts for Valentine's Day! Thank you, again! May I offer you a pretty yellow rose that's glistening with dew drops to say, "Thank You!":)

I love after bath splashes! I've made several of these and put them in spray bottles dressed up with decals and ribbon and given as gifts- everyone loves them! My personal favorites are with rose oil and jasmine oil. I also like Peachez's idea of refrigerating them, WOW, what a feeling! Thanx for posting:)

Easy and inexpensive. I made 3 seperate batches ( Lavender, Peppermint and Rose ). I love all of them for after showering, I keep them in the refrigerator for an " iced " feeling. I used atomizers and " misted " each room ( not the wood or painted surfaces )and the linen closets, they leave a lingering scent which is refreshing and so much cheaper than store bought air fresheners. This is one versatile recipe. I can't wait to make combinations of the different oils available. Thank you for sharing !!!!!
