This sauce recipe comes from some missionaries in Africa. It's usually eaten with rice and I'm sure it would taste nice with some additional vegetables, tofu, or chicken as well.
- In a skillet heat oil, onions, and garlic for about 2-4 minutes.
- Add the remaining ingredients and cook for about 8-10 more minutes.
- Serve hot over rice.
I had to add about 1/2 cup of water to the sauce as it was way too thick. Taste is good , but I added some currypowder to spice it up. Very good over rice, but could even use an extra kick. Thanks for posting. Made for ZWT4.
