    A NZ classic biscuit from the Edmonds cookbook. The yield is a guess as I haven't made them for a while.

    Ingredients:

    Directions:

    1. 1
      Soften the butter, add sugar and beat to a cream.
    2. 2
      Add the flour and cocoa and lastly the cornflakes.
    3. 3
      Put spoonfuls on a greased oven tray and bake for about 15 minutes at 180 deg C.
    4. 4
      When cold, ice with chocolate icing and decorate with walnuts on top.

      Afghans are great. I often make them with ricies (Rice Krispies) as I don't often buy cornflakes, I think they are even better.

      Good old fashion kiwi cookie (or biscuit as we call them in new zealand)yummy chocolate with bits of cornflakes which I reckon taste better than rolled oats, very nice!
