A common spice mix used in many Iranian dishes. If you don't have rose petals, you may omit them. From My Persian Kitchen.


  1. Combine all ingredients and store in an air-tight container.

I modified this to be halal and I also didn't use rose petals this time but will update when I do insha Allah (God willing). I changed the nutmeg which is an intoxicant to allspice and used this in another of My Persian Kitchen's recipes, Persian Rice With Barberries (Zereshk Polow) which was perfect masha Allah (Praise be to God).
