Tickled them a bit to make them feel welcomed. Now they are part of the family. Wherever we go they go, too--for a dish to pass, that is. They like to be dressed up, so I've accommodated their wishes!!!
Directions:
1
Hard cook the eggs.
2
Cool, peel, and cut lengthwise.
3
Scoop yolks into a mixing bowl.
4
Add salad dressing (I use mayonnaise) and remaining ingredients.
5
Mash until smooth. I use a fork.
6
Pipe or spoon mixture into egg halves. I've never piped, so I use a spoon.
7
Garnish. Sliced gherkins add a nice finishing touch, too.
8
Chill loosely wrapped until ready to present.
Ratings & Reviews:
Quick to put together, and very tasty. I'd never used pickle juice in the yolk mixture before, so that was new for me, and added a nice tang. I tasted the mix before filling, and didn't think it needed any salt, so I left that out. Next time however, I'll probably up the cayenne pepper, but as it stands now, this would be suitable for every taste. Thank Suzanna. I enjoyed this very much. Made for Spring PAC 2010

Yum! Enjoyed this tangy take on traditional deviled eggs. Next time I will add a little more cayenne for my taste.
