After reading Deb Wolfe's review I did the same... used this sauce with frozen meatballs, as I was pressed for time. It was very good, and well received at a Christmas party- I brought home an empty crockpot!

this is very sweet! guess I should have known by the amount of brown sugar. the meatballs are also very wet and hard to shape into balls, very messy! I was going to give this recipe 4 stars cause it really was not my style but since my two year old asked for seconds (which is a miracle! little man has a chicken nugget addiction!) it gets 5!! I Froze the 'balls' (my called them balls) with the sauce in a heavy duty freezer bag and defrosted in the fridge for one day. reheated in the crock pot till bubbly, about 4 hours on low. made for Freezer Tag March 2008

I've been making this with purchased frozen meatballs (timesaver) for years. The sauce makes it! It is very easy to prepare. It's the first thing my husband asks for it whenever we have people over. I orginally got this or a very similar recipe from Taste of Home (good recipes get around), but misplaced it. Thanks for posting it!
