This is a nice tangy dressing that has been handed down from generation to generation. It does have to sit for a few days to meld.


  1. Mix red wine vinegar, oil and garlic in a bowl or cup with lid.
  2. Shake.
  3. Let sit in refrigerator for 2 days.
  4. Whisk in mayonnaise to taste.
  5. Serve.
