This tastes for all the world like a melted Creamsicle popsicle, and as such is much admired by the young ladies, if not some of the older ones as well. Dates back to the 1970's. As usual, using the very best ingredients will yield the best results, so don't get cheap with the juice and cream. While the filters are giving me a tough time, the pear liquer required is sold as "Austrian Pear Liquer", is sold in 25 oz bottles, and is a pale orangey-pink colour
- 1 1⁄2 ounces pear liqueur
- 1 1⁄2 ounces 18% table cream
- 1 1⁄2 ounces orange juice (Tropicana or better)
- Using chilled ingredients, pour into a glass in the order stated.
- Mix very well.
- Add Ice.
