I have been searching for a pork marinade that is not too lemony for my husband but not too sweet for myself. I finally found it...enjoy!

  1. Trim all visible fat off of pork.
  2. Combine all ingredients except the pork in a mixing bowl.
  3. Stir until honey/maple syrup is dissolved.
  4. Put pork into a gallon plastic freezer bag and pour marinade over top.
  5. Seal the bag and shake to make sure you coat your pork pieces.
  6. Marinate in the fridge for at least 4 hours turning once an hour -- best if left overnight.

great easy recipe, i didn't have any lemon juice or lemons so i used some OJ and it was excellent. The biggest critics, the kids, ate it all.

fantastic marinade, I used sourwood honey and agave nectar, and the crust was wonderful on the grill.

Nice marinade. Used it on 6 boneless pork chops. Sat in marinade for about 4 hours, then cooked in grill pan. Thank you.
