As I was eating this salad I said to myself: "This would be really good with nuts-pistachios, walnuts, almonds, etc." Then I realized that the recipe called for nuts but I forgot to add them! Ooops! I used carrots from our CSA box and purple carrots from another local source. The big change was to not stir the dressing in with the vegetables rather to spoon it over the top. I think it made for a better presentation. Local honey, whole milk Nancy's yogurt, lime zest, apples from my sis in law's yard. Vegetables were arranged over a bed of baby arugula, too. Reviewed for Veg Tag/September. Thanks!

Made this recipe as given, using raw clover honey & one of the largest Fuji apples I could find! Easy to make, & absolutely delicious! Another salad I'll be happy to make again & again! Thanks for sharing the recipe! [Made & reviewed in Everyday Is a Holiday recipe tag]

I love carrot and apple salad and the lime addition makes this one a star. I doubled the cinnamon and the amount of dressing. There was enough for 4 servings and it vanished with two of us, lol. The food processor made this so quickly that it was 6 mins start to finish. Used fat free yogurt and Splenda for the honey. Yummmm :D

Very good, but next time I will cut down on the cinnamon and maybe increase to 2 carrots and 2 apples -- but keep the dressing the same. I didn't have any lime juice so used lemon juice -- but no other changes. Thanks for sharing!

This is a very nice salad that went very well with pork and roasted vegetables. The recipe actually made 3 nice servings. Made for Newest Zaar Tag.
