directions

  • Preheat oven to 375°. In large skillet, cook sausage over medium to high heat, stirring frequently until no longer pink.
  • Separate crescent rolls into eight triangles. Place in ungreased 12-inch rimmed pizza pan with points towards the center. Press together, seal perforations and form a circle 1-inch larger in diameter than pan bottom. Turn edges under to make a slight rim.
  • Sprinkle cooked sausage over crust. Top with potato cubes. Add red and yellow peppers, and tomatoes if desired. Sprinkle with Monterey Jack cheese. Stir beaten eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in small bowl; pour evenly over pizza. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and cilantro.
  • Bake 20 minutes or until eggs are set and crust is golden.

  1. This was a hit! I used all-natural apple gouda chicken sausage, Munster cheese, made my own hash browns and used Trader Joe's Whole Wheat Pizza Dough. I also cooked it in a Pyrex dish so I wouldn't have to deal with possible over flowing. It took longer to cook and turned out more like a quiche. The tomatoes added a wonderful flavor too!! Yummy!

  2. Wow! I doubled the recipe and instead of tomotoes and onions and cilantro I used pico de guillo mix and was it ever so easy and good. Make sure to create a deep well around the edges or the egg mixture will run out and into the bottom of the oven. OOPS! This tasted soooo good!

  3. A great and easy way to get your Saturday morning omelette! The tube of crescent rolls fit perfectly onto my pizza pan (though I had to press and stretch it a bit). I used canadian bacon instead of sausage and quickly made my own cubed hash browns. I also used 5 eggs, though 4 would probably have fit better without spilling off to the side. To suit family tastes I put the peppers and tomatoes only on one section. (Even though I like the veggies, I think I preferred it with just the meat, potatoes eggs and cheese.) Thanks for posting!

Very busy nanny/au pair, working for a very rich and snooty family, in a very large home, in a very snooty village. Just in case my employer comes here, please don't ask where I am from, or I'll be sacked like the last nanny was. ;-) I take care of 4 gorgeous, and darling kids. 3 girls and a boy. The boy is the youngest (and my favorite). They are great children, very, very active. (Hyper) I love to cook. I guess that's a given, why else would I be here. Part of my job is also to prepare meals for the family. The more they like my food, the longer I get to stay. (just a little joke) On my day off, I usually go out to the cinema or some dance clubs with the other au pairs in this town. That's about it I think.
